Badger is home to 375 people and is located between the cities of Roseau and Greenbush along Minnesota State Highway 11.  Our residents enjoy the four seasons:  In the winter months we enjoy snowmobiling along the many miles of trails throughout the county, ice fishing on Lake of the Woods, sledding down the hills, ice skating and cross country skiing.  In the spring the farmers are out in full force and the rest of us are getting the gardens and flower beds ready and planted.  In the summer months we enjoy swimming, fishing on Lake of the Woods and the Roseau River, riding our ATV’s on the many miles of trails throughout the county, mowing the lawn, tending to the gardens, watching and participating in the many outdoor summer sports and activities.  Fall is time for the farmers to reap what they have sown while the rest of us put up the fruits of our labor from our gardens and prepare our homes and yards for the coming winter. There’s something for everyone – year ’round.
